I was really surprised by how clear Kaminokoike is, allowing you to see straight to the bottom. Known as the "Pond of the God's Child," the water remains at a constant 8°C year-round, preserving fallen trees like fossils.

Access: From Kiyosato town, take the Mashuko Shari Line towards Nakashibetsu for 25 km, then turn right onto Hatoui Forest Road. After about 2 km, you’ll see the "Kaminoko-Ike" sign. Be cautious as mobile signals are weak and the road can be unstable.
