After hiking the Mitake to Mt. Hinode trail, I always make a point to visit Tsurutsuru Onsen. It's the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after a long day on the trail. The onsen is spacious, with a nice green view that adds to the calming atmosphere. I appreciate that it's tattoo-friendly, which is a big plus because I can take my clients with tattoos here. They also have an impressive selection of food, so I can enjoy a good meal while soaking in the serene surroundings. It’s become my go-to spot for unwinding after a hike.

Just a heads-up—they’re closed on the third Tuesday of each month. I learned this the hard way after a long, sweaty hike, only to arrive and find the doors shut. Let’s just say it wasn’t my finest moment!

Hours: 10:00 ~ 20:00 (make sure to arrive by 19:00 at the latest)
