At Pearl Miki, you can grab an oyster straight out of the water yourself and open it up to see what kind of pearl you get—it's genuinely exciting to see what's waiting inside!

You can eat the fresh, edible parts of the oyster right then and there. Whatever you can't eat doesn't go to waste either; you get to feed it to the pufferfish swimming around—an unexpectedly fun part of the experience.

The owner is really friendly and welcoming, and she'll even turn your pearl into a nice piece of jewelry right away, so you'll have something special to take home.

Access

  • Public Transport: Take a Mie Kotsu Bus from Kintetsu Ugata Station towards Goza Port (about 60 mins), then walk 15 mins from Goza Port bus stop.

  • By Car: Just about 2 mins from Shiroki IC on the Ise Road (Routes 260 & 45).

Pricing:

  • Pearl Picking Experience: From ¥2,500 per person

  • Jewelry Making: Extra fee applies depending on what jewelry you pick.
