We drove through this area and I saw some of the most beautiful autumn foliage ever in Japan. Hands down, it was the best I have ever seen. I was completely mesmerized by just how vibrant the colors were on the leaves. The greens were incredibly green, and the oranges, yellows, and reds were all very vibrant.

If you are traveling with a car, I highly recommend driving through this route.
