This is a sunrise hike you can do if you stay at Mt. Mitake. It's about a 45 minute hike from Mitake and arrive here before sunrise to witness it. Fyi the mountain means Sunrise Mountain in Japanese.

Now this is also a mountain you will be passing through if you are doing the hike from Mitake to Tsuru Tsuru Onsen. Here's a guide in JP but with a lot of images (YamaGirl)
