The ropeways are very scenic and yet very empty in the summer.

Summer Season (Green Season)
From late May to early November, the Happo Gondola “Adam” and connecting chairlifts operate for hikers and sightseers. The gondola brings visitors to mid-mountain, where lifts continue upward toward the alpine zone. Typical operating hours are around 8:00 to 16:00, though they may vary by date or weather. These lifts provide access to panoramic trails, including the route toward Happo Pond and the surrounding ridgelines.

Winter Season (Ski Season)
In winter, Happo-One becomes a major ski destination with a full system of gondola and chairlifts running daily from early morning to mid-afternoon. The gondola is the main gateway to the upper slopes, and multiple high-speed quads and pair lifts cover the resort’s extensive terrain. The season usually begins in late November or early December and continues into spring, depending on snow conditions. Operating hours generally fall between 8:00 and 16:00.
