Photospot

I found this photospot to be one of my most memorable while cycling through the Shimanami Kaido.

About:

The 2nd rest square on Ikuchi Bridge is a small, cyclist-friendly stop where you can sit on a bench, snap wide views of the Seto Inland Sea, and stretch your legs without leaving the bridge. It is exposed and can get very windy, so keep a hand on your hat and hold your bike steady; there is usually just a railing or simple spot to lean and lock a bike rather than formal parking. Don’t expect cafes or full restrooms, so bring water, a windbreaker, and any snacks you need, and use facilities before you start the island hop. Stay to the side so faster cyclists can pass and use the stop mainly for a quick break and photos.
