Design & Atmosphere
SANU is a place where design and nature come together. Almost everything is made of wood — from the walls to the furniture — creating a warm, natural atmosphere. The cabins are intentionally tucked away in the forest, so you’re fully surrounded by trees and immersed in nature.
Architecture & Features
The architecture is incredible, with thoughtful details everywhere. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to cook your own meals, and the outdoor fireplace is a wonderful touch for evenings. Inside, the wooden interiors even enhance sound — the projector and speakers feel richer and more immersive because of it.
Things to Note
While SANU is beautiful, there are a few points to keep in mind:
The spaces can feel a bit small for larger Western guests.
Accessibility is difficult without a car.
Since it was designed mainly for locals, small details like trash disposal are more complex than a hotel stay.
Overall
If you love nature, wood, and architecture, SANU is a fantastic place to stay. It’s cozy, inspiring, and truly one of the most thoughtfully designed accommodations I’ve experienced.
