Kua Kawhe is easily one of my favorite spots in the Coromandel. The food here is always amazing, the atmosphere is incredibly cozy, and the staff are absolutely lovely, making you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I always look forward to my next visit, especially for a post-swim refuel. The coffee is consistently fantastic, and you really can't go wrong with their cabinet food—the smoked fish pie is a massive standout and a personal must-order. It is the perfect place to grab a seat outside, soak in the relaxed coastal vibes, and just slow down.
