The Rhône Glacier is a glacier in the Swiss Alps near Furka Pass in the canton of Valais.

This is spectacular. Seeing a glacier with such easy access feels magical.

Drive to Belvedere. You can avoid paying the entry fee. Instead, drive behind Belvedere. Here is the exact parking spot (you can see the parking place in one of the pictures). Cross the road, and you’ll find a path. I drew a map on Swisstopo here. It takes around 20 minutes and involves 99 m of elevation gain. It’s really worth it. I’ve driven to Furkapass so many times and missed this place.
