Niederhorn is located in Bernese Oberland. From the summit, you can see stunning views of Lake Thun and the entire Bernese Alps.
I drove to Beatenberg and parked my car there. Alternatively, you can arrive by bus 101 from Interlaken. Take the cable car up—don't get off at the middle station at Vorsass like I did. A one-way ticket costs 36 CHF. At the top, simply enjoy the views and walk around. I took the last cable car to avoid crowds, which worked perfectly, then hiked back down to my car. The hike took 4 h 40 min. I saw ibexes for the first time—an incredible experience.
Another way to get to Niederhorn:
You can arrive in Beatenbucht, which is located by the lake, and you can get there by car, by boat, or by bus 21 from Interlaken. Then take the funicular to Beatenberg (where I started). From there, take the cable car to Niederhorn.
The hike I did: Niederhorn to Burgfeldstand viewpoint, then back down to Beatenberg.
