Located near Brienz in Bernese Oberland. I have visited this waterfall many times. And every time I take someone to see it, they are stunned.

The best time to visit is in spring or after rainfall. I also visited in autumn—the colors were absolutely stunning, though the waterfall was smaller. You only pay for parking.

There are two ways to get there:

• Take the boat from Brienz, then ride the funicular. Find more information and tickets here.

• By car. A new system starts in summer 2025. To avoid confusion, visit this website and pay for parking online in advance.

Follow the signs to the waterfalls—it's an easy walk. End at the hotel, where you can enjoy coffee or beer on the terrace with beautiful views of the waterfalls.
