Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe is the main information and view point at the Großglockner High Alpine road (open only in the summer months!). It hosts a visitor center, a museum, a restaurant and various view points. It is also the main spot to see the Großglockner, the highest peak in Austria.

From here, you'll also start the Gamsgrubentunnel trail through the mountain, or various trails closer to the Pasterze glacier and it is also a great spot to see wild marmots or other animals roaming around.
