The Nourlangie Trail in Kakadu National Park is like a gateway to ancient stories and breathtaking landscapes. As you step onto the 1.5km loop trail, you’ll find yourself surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs, monsoon forests, and an air of timelessness. The walk is easy and accessible, taking about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Along the trail, you’ll discover incredible Aboriginal rock art galleries, including depictions of ancestral spirits like Namarrgon, the Lightning Man. These paintings aren’t just beautiful—they’re windows into the spiritual and cultural world of Kakadu’s Traditional Owners.

As you continue, you’ll reach stunning lookouts where the views stretch across the Kakadu wilderness.
