Lighthouse Beach in Seal Rocks is an absolute stunner – the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled on your own slice of paradise. It’s perfect for kicking back with your mates or, if you’ve got a 4WD, you can drive right onto the beach and set up camp for the day. There’s something so Aussie about that freedom to park up, crack open a drink, and soak it all in.

We hit it up for sunset, and honestly, the colours were insane – all pinks and golds over the water. We had Triple J’s Hottest 100 pumping, made cocktails on the sand, and just lapped up the vibes. The beach is so spacious you can find your own patch and feel like it’s all yours.

The morning was just as memorable. There were a couple of dingoes trotting around near the local fishermen – it was so wild to see them up close like that. They weren’t aggressive, just cruising, but definitely keep your distance and don’t feed them.
