I'll be honest with you, Monkey Mia is like the Waikiki of WA; with everything picture-perfect.

You have to pay $15 to enter the touristy area, but once you're in it's a very laid-back, tropical vibe that feels both relaxed and vibrant. The beach is lined with palm trees, there's often dolphins playing in the crystal-clear shallows and the bay is very protected and calm.

If you feel like splashing out and camping the night at the RAC, the sunsets are truly magical, with the sky lighting up in brilliant shades of orange, pink, and purple. We had a drink at some of the beachfront bars which was a VIBE!
