Surfers Point in Margaret River is an absolute icon—it’s home to one of the most famous surf breaks in the world. Even if you’re not a surfer, it’s worth heading down to the carpark just to watch the pros carve it up on those monster waves. Sunset is especially magical here—the sky puts on a show, and the vibe is super social, with locals and travellers hanging out, sharing stories, and soaking it all in.

If the waves aren’t your thing, there’s plenty more to love. The beach is stunning, with little keyholes in the reef where you can take a dip—it’s like your own private rock pool. For a cruisier experience, take a stroll along the foreshore or the promenade that leads to Rivermouth Beach. It’s a bit more low-key over there, with a beach break that’s perfect for beginner surfers or just a splash in the water.
