Chinaman’s Beach in Kalbarri is my favourite spot to head when I'm in Kalbarri - it's pretty central to it all and a popular carpark; especially if you’re road-tripping or just looking for somewhere to chill. The carpark is right on the beach, so you can literally cook up a feed straight out the back of your camper or van while soaking up the views. There’s a lush grassy lawn right there too—it’s perfect for throwing down a picnic rug, kicking back, and watching the sunset. Trust me, it’s got those feel-good vibes.

The beach is set in a calm inlet, so it’s great for a paddle, and there’s a jetty nearby if you’re keen to fish or just wander out and take it all in. If you’re up for a bit more action, the foreshore promenade is beautiful for a walk, run, or even a skate—it’s super well-kept and easy to cruise along.

The vibe here is unbeatable—sunshine, stunning views, and all the space you need to relax and unwind. Chinaman’s Beach is one of those spots where you’ll want to stay way longer than you planned.
