If you can snag this spot, well done - because this is the best spot to base yourself if you're in Noosa. The photos you get from here are incredible, and more often than not you'll find other travellers parked nearby too!

This pin is on the waterfront of the iconic Noosa point break - such a fun wave if you have a longboard! It's also the gateway to the Noosa National Park; with heaps of walking tracks, each offering its own unique experience. You can take the coastal track, which winds along the cliffs, offering spectacular ocean views and opportunities to spot dolphins, whales (during migration season), and turtles.

For a more challenging walk, the Noosa Hill track takes you to the park’s highest point, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of Noosa Heads, Laguna Bay, and the surrounding coastline.

The park’s beaches, like Alexandria Bay, are pristine and often quieter than those in the more developed areas of Noosa.

If you're looking for surf, the locals generally hit Tea Trea.

Ask the other travellers in vans about rangers when stealth camping.
