If you’ve got a boat, this is the dream — you can launch right from town and head out to Dunk Island or other nearby spots. The beach is iconic (you’ll defo recognise the palm tree line from Instagram), and the sunrise here? Magic.

Pet-wise, some areas are dog-friendly, but check signs as parts are cassowary zones. All up — peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to slow down and soak up the coast.
