Beach

Middleton Beach is the kind of place where you can rock up solo and leave with a whole new crew—it’s got that social, easygoing vibe that makes it a magnet for travellers, backpackers, and locals alike. There’s usually someone having a hit of volleyball, a group cooking up a feast on the barbies, and families enjoying the shallows.

It’s a beautiful spot to just hang out, especially around sunset, when the sky throws around soft pinks and oranges over the water. If you’re keen to meet fellow travellers or just chill with some good energy around, this is the place.

The water here is calm and swimmable, perfect if you’re keen for a dip without battling waves. And if you’ve got a pup with you, you’ll be happy to know there’s a dog-friendly section down the beach.
