Crescent Head has to be one of my favourite towns in Australia; I just love it here! We actually spent New Years and ANZAC Day here - the local scene is just such a vibe, and the coastline is GORGEOUS!

Creso is super famous for its swell, so if you're a surfer, you'll be in paradise—Crescent Head is renowned for its long, peeling right-hand point breaks, making it one of the best surf spots in the area. Whether you're an experienced surfer or a beginner, you'll find waves to suit your skill level, and the consistent surf attracts surfers from all over the world.

Our favourite spot to park up and watch the surf is at the point, the carpark is right on the water (see pin location).

Nearby the point break is the the Crescent Head Surf Life Saving Club, which has a local cafe connected which has delicious coffee and toasties. You can hang on the lawn and watch the surf - big vibe. The Crescent Head beach break is also a great learning wave - we took a big group of girls on a surf lesson here which as crazy fun!

Beyond the surf, Crescent Head is a tranquil town with a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not overcrowded or commercialised, which gives it a timeless, unhurried charm. While you're in town, I'd recommend getting a coffee at the Green Room, and head to the pub for a local feel, or the bowlo for some barefoot bowls! So fun x
