Yardie Creek is an absolute gem tucked away in Cape Range National Park – a stunning gorge that’s a must-see when you’re exploring this slice of paradise. The gorge walk is about 2km return and gives you gorgeous views of the cliffs and the creek below. Keep your eyes peeled for the rock wallabies chilling on the ledges – they’re the real MVPs of Yardie Creek.

Mum and I once floated down the creek itself, and honestly, it was such a fun way to take it all in. I honestly wouldn't really bother with the boat tour, just walk or find a way to float haha . And if you’re keen to stay overnight, there’s a campsite nearby which is right near the beach!

ALSO: this is one of the only spots in the park where you’ll get decent reception and 4G, so if you need to catch up on some calls or smash out a few Insta stories, this is the place to do it.
