Josephine Falls is hands down one of my absolute faves up north — it’s got this nostalgic magic for me. We came here when I was a kid and I still remember how stoked we were sliding down the natural rock waterslide. Yep, an actual waterfall you can slide down — how epic is that?!

The water’s crystal clear and super refreshing, perfect for those humid FNQ days. It’s a short, easy walk in (even in thongs), and the whole spot just feels like a tropical jungle escape.

It’s not pet friendly unfortunately (national park rules), but it’s a must-do if you're in the area. Go early to beat the crowds and make sure you’ve got swimmers on — you’re gonna wanna jump in!
