Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand is pure magic – it honestly looks like a postcard. Known for its ridiculously white sand (some of the whitest in the world!) and crystal-clear turquoise water, it’s also the spot for those iconic kangaroo-on-the-beach snaps. And yes, it’s absolutely Instagram-famous for a reason.

What makes it even better? You can drive right onto the beach, even in a 2WD, and the further you head down, the quieter it gets, so you can claim your own patch of paradise. The water is perfect for a swim, and sunrise is prime kangaroo-spotting time – trust me, it’s worth the early alarm.

My friends and I actually strolled up the big rock for sunset with a few drinks which was spectacular - highly recommend!

Just a heads up it gets really windy, especially in the afternoon!

There’s a great campground nearby if you want to stay overnight and soak up even more of the vibes, though it can get windy, so be prepared.
