Yallingup Beach has this old-school, retro ‘70s surf town vibe—slow pace, super local, and just all-round good energy. The water here is insanely clear, like next-level stunning, and the surf is pretty popular with beginners, especially when the swell isn’t too hectic. If you’re more into a cruisy swim or a snorkel, the protected bay is perfect—calm, refreshing, and full of little fish darting around the reef.

There’s a lovely grassy park with big shady trees, perfect for kicking back after a dip, and the car park is a bit of a hub for travellers—vans, 4wds, backpackers making a cuppa in their tailgate kitchens. It’s one of those places where you could easily lose track of time, just soaking in the coastal magic.

Not pet-friendly, but if you’re after a dog-friendly beach, you can head to Smiths Beach just down the road!

Best spot for sunset here!
