Wharton Beach is one of those places that you honestly won't believe your eyes! The sand is as white as it gets, stretching out for miles, while the water is an absolutely crystal-clear turquoise that’s so inviting it's almost unbelievable. The waves are gentle and go forever if you have a long board, honestly like the surf you’d find in Indo.

The sand is quite hard, so is accessible for 2WD - but just check it at the base of the ramp, as sometimes the sand can be quite soft and churned up after a lot of cars cross it.
