NATURE IS ART, I TELL YA!

Hutt Lagoon, or the pink lake as it's known, is as pink as it looks in photos—seriously, it's magic. If you hit it on the right day, under the right conditions, it's a vibrant bubblegum pink that feels almost unreal. The key is to avoid being there in the middle of the day because the glare off the water can dull the colour a bit. Try to visit early morning or late afternoon, when the sun isn't so harsh but still bright enough to bring out the best of the hues.

From the ground it’s stunning, but if you’ve got a drone, you’ll get the best view from above. The contrast of the pink lake against the green vegetation and blue sky is out of this world—totally worth a photo! That said, even without a drone, I got some pretty epic shots just by walking around the edge of the lake.

As for the drive, it’s pretty straightforward—just make sure you’ve got a 2WD if you’re heading there, but be aware that the road can get a little rough in parts, so take it slow.
