A somewhat unusual stop, but in my opinion a must-see in Madaba, is the Kawon bookstore. This is a bookstore with an adjoining cafe, where rare books up to 100 years old, vinyls and videotapes are stored. One of the highlights is the outdoor seating, making it a perfect place to relax suitable for chatting, studying and eating. Coffee tea sweet and savory snacks ( various dishes of the day (vegetarian cuisine). Pamper the 20 kittens in the beautiful garden! The atmosphere is really very nice and the staff friendly.

🇮🇹 Una tappa un pò insolita, ma secondo me è una cosa da vedere a Madaba, è il Kawon bookstore. Si tratta di una libreria con annesso bar, in cui sono conservati libri rari vecchi fino a 100 anni, vinili e videocassette. Uno dei punti forti sono i posti a sedere all'aperto, che lo rendono un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi adatto per chiacchierare, studiare e mangiare. Caffè tè snacks dolci e salati ( vari piatti del giorno (cucina vegetariana). Coccole ai 20 gattini nel bellissimo giardino! L’atmosfera è davvero molto carina e il personale gentile.
