I felt like the biggest kid when I recently went river tubing with Warburton Adventure Company, spending 2 hours floating down a section of the Upper Yarra River near Warburton!

We were driven 3km up the river from where we parked our car, given a paddle, a strong and sturdy river tube and left to have a relaxing time as we made our way down the river back to the car on a self-guided river tubing adventure! We found ourselves manoeuvring around obstacles, navigating rapids, going for swims, bumping into each other and having a whole load of laughs.

Things to note:
- Just under 1.5 hours from Melbourne CBD
- Journey begins at Warburton football oval where you park your car
- They can look after your car keys while you’re on the water!
- Closed toe shoes or water booties are recommended
