French Island is actually Victoria’s largest coastal island (twice the size of Phillip Island) and is the perfect place to escape if you’re looking for an unforgettable time away in nature - it practically feels like you have an entire Island all to yourself!

We stayed at French Island 3921, an off-grid tiny house on a 70 hectare property where you can relax in isolation amongst the birds, the cows and a beautiful sunset by the fire pit or have a cheeky outdoor bath. They now have 2 tiny houses on the property!

How to get there:
1. Jump on a Westernport Ferries daily service from Stony Point or Phillip Island to French Island or bring your car across on the Spirit of French Island barge operating between Corinella and French Island.
2. Set sail for a short and picturesque 15 minutes to Tankerton Pier on French Island 🏖️
3. Hire out the accommodation courtesy car (Suzuki Jimny) using UberCarshare and walk to the car park to find your ride.

1. The Tiny home is only a 15 minute drive from there - pass by the General Store for a quick snack along the way if you’re feeling peckish!
