Boulder seats and booming views💥
A forest trail to a big bluey-green lake below Boom Mountain. The path is gradual and easy, just on the longer side. Pretty much all shaded until it opens up to the lake itself and all its views. At the shore you’ll find long stretches of boulders and logs to sit on for lunch and photos. Pretty nice in the fall season too - Nothing overly crazy like other fall hikes, but a nice amount of colours for sure. The trail is quite popular for snowshoeing in the winter when some of the big peaks aren't doable.

🏕️⛈ STORM MOUNTAIN LODGE
Historic hand-built lodge and cabins, originally built in 1922. Tucked into the forest, perfectly placed between Banff and the Kootenays. It has big crackling fireplaces, mountain views all around, and AMAZING food. For more details on the lodge, check out its pin on my map.
