Banff Park Lodgeđđ
Great choice if you want to stay in town and be able to walk pretty much everywhere, without being stuck right in the loud and busiest stretch of Banff Ave. Itâs a minutes walk from the glacial green Bow River and only a 3 minute walk or so into the main part of town, so its really convenient without being too hectic. It also has a more full service than a lot of basic hotels and stays in town, with recently updated rooms, proper wellness/spa amenities, multiple dining options, underground parking (especially great for winter), and a good overall setup whether youâre here for summer hiking, sightseeing, or a winter trip!

TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY
Great base if you want to leave the car parked and explore Banff mostly on foot. The Bow River is right there, downtown is close, and the pool, steam room, and hot tub are all a great bonus after a long hike day or a cold winter day out.
Also just a good spot if you want something comfortable and well rounded without going ultra.
