Glacier View Lodgeš§š
The Glacier View Lodge is basically the āsleep beside a glacierā option at the Columbia Icefield. Itās definitely on the pricey side, but there arenāt many places to stay up in the icefields, and the location is the whole point I suppose. So if youāre going to splurge for one night, this is a pretty unreal place to do it that's for sure.
Itās right at the Discovery Centre, so you can roll out for the Athabasca Glacier and Skywalk without driving anywhere, then come back to a warm lounge with massive glacier views and good food. Bedroom views don't get much better than this!

šæ Hotel Amenities
Glacier, mountain, and lake view rooms. The whole point is the location and the views, so if you can swing it, go for it.
No spa or pool. This is more of a glacier lounge, hot drink, big mountain views, early bedtime place than resort vibes. At least, in my opinion. There is of course a bar and lounge you can treat yourself in as well.

- Starbucks: For you coffee lovers. Yes - there is a Starbucks in the icefields lol.

TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY
Dress warmer than you think, even in summer. Itās windy and cold up here once the sun dips.
There little to no cell coverage along the Icefields Parkway (Although, you 'might' get a brief signal at the Columbia Icefields Discovery Centre).
If youāre only doing one fancy night on the Parkway, this is the one. The glacier is right there, and the best part is slowing down instead of rushing through. Again, if youāre doing the Skywalk or glacier tour, book your bundle early in peak season so youāre not stuck with leftovers.
See Parks Canada for the latest National Park trail conditions.
