HI Mosquito Creek Wilderness Hostel🛏️♨

A cool little hostel (with a bonus treat!) right between Bow Lake & Hector Lake. Feels like a little off-grid outpost in the forest. You cook your own meals, hang out by the fireplace with other travellers, then end the night with the wood-burning sauna - yes, this hostel has a sauna!

Though not a full-on spa, that's a great treat after a long day of hiking. So, if you want something cheap but memorable, this is it.

✅ TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY

• There is little to no cell coverage along the Icefields Parkway.

• Pack bear spray and store food properly - you are in bear country.

• Get some groceries from Banff or Lake Louise if you plan on cooking.

• Bring a headlamp and layers, and maybe check out the dark starry sky.

• Great home base for nearby trails in and around the Bow Lake & Hector Lake areas.

• Parks Pass: Parks Canada Pass Required
