The Crossing Resortđ â˝
I stop here quite a lot. Usually while Iâm doing a big Icefields day in the area. Itâs right at the Saskatchewan River Crossing, and the only place between Lake Louise & Jasper where you can refuel on gas. There are also a bunch of sights around the area too, so it's a good spot to rest up and just be a tourist in the area.
Grab snacks, and maybe get a cozy sleep for the night instead of tenting it. Definitely a good spot to reset on road trips between Banff and Jasper if you are not one for driving all day long.

đż Hotel Amenities
This resort also has a fitness centre and though not full-spa, there is a sauna for guests to use.
What else? A general store, gift shop, laundry room, and a gas station (which is a big deal on this stretch of highway, being the only one lol).
Modernized hotel rooms with beautiful mountain views. Most rooms have a patio/balcony to use as well. Some of the fancy rooms even have a fire place.
It has the Crossing Cafe for you coffee lovers, the Mount Wilson Restaurant, and the Parkway Pub all on site at the resort. As well as picnic areas outside too.

â TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY
If youâre driving between Lake Louise & Jasper, this is definitely the most convenient refuel and snack stop on the whole route. Iâd treat it like a checkpoint if you are doing the whole drive in one day. Top up the tank, grab some snacks & drinks if you need.
