The Iron Goat Pub & Grill🐐

One of my favourite restaurants with a view in Canmore. Perched a bit above the main town area, with views of the Three Sisters and Ha Ling from their massive windows (or outside on their patio). I love coming here after a long day on the trails. Pizza is usually my go-to, but they have lots of good stuff.

It has that classic timber frame mountain lodge feel. Whether you’re sitting out on the patio in the summer sun, or warming up with some winter grub, the atmosphere is always welcoming and lively without being quite as chaotic as the downtown area.

• Try to snag a table by the window or on the upper deck inside. It's one of the best vantage points in the valley to see the peaks you likely just hiked.

• It gets very busy here on weekends and during the summer, so I would advise to call and book a table in advance.
