Banff's thundering Bow Fallsđ
Bow Falls is a waterfall right in the town of Banff. The trail follows the glowing green Bow River, then to a bridge taking you over the river, through a bit of forest and finally opens up to the wide, rushing falls.
I like popping down here sometimes when I'm in the area. On a hot day especially, the mist on your face is great haha. The mountains in the backdrop are pretty cool too. Summer days or snowy winter, itâs an easy win without having to leave town.

Possible wildlife encounters.
Icy trail in winter (I highly recommend microspikes).
Rafting, Kayaking etc... Often done down the Bow River and falls, but by skilled users or professional guided rafting tours. Do not attempt without the proper skills, knowledge, or a certified guide.
