Northwinds Hotel Canmore🏠

Simple, but updated and convenient. Just a few minutes from the main downtown area. Has a restaurant on the property, and room options for all sizes - couples, families, or small groups. It also conveniently has a stop just outside of it for a few shuttle companies that go between Banff, Canmore and the Calgary airport. So if convenience is what you need getting to and from Calgary, this is a good spot for it!

✅ TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY

  • Comfortable and convenient home base if you plan to spend most of your time outside exploring Canmore, Banff, or Kananaskis.

  • The Bankhead Restaurant has some really nice foods - highly recommend to go there at least for one of your nights.

  • Mobility note: Some units like the King Rooms, are on the second floor and accessed by stairs only, so I’d keep that in mind if mobility is a factor for you or someone in your group to book one of the ground floor units..
