Walk Lake Louise’s glacier valley masterpiece🧊🏔️

Plain of Six Glaciers is an awesome hike to take people on - especially people that like geology, nature and rocks lol. It starts easy, along the shore of Lake Louise… past some straight up vertical cliffs, then turns into a proper mountain adventure with glaciers looming above you. It's pretty wild to get up and close to them. The sad thing is how quickly they are melting. I feel privileged to be able to see them at the time we can now. In another 30 odd years, they will be nothing.

I did this trail with my dad once and we ran into the cutest little porcupine, waddling across the trail like it owned the place lol. We gave it space, it disappeared into the bushes, and we kept going with big smiles🦔
