Basecamp Lodge Canmore🏠

Solid Canmore pick if you want something central and mountain feeling without going super fancy. It’s on Bow Valley Trail and feels more warm and simple than flashy. The big appeal is that it gives you a base close to town, with a nice shared space (the 'Great Room'), free coffee, a sauna, and a few room options depending on your group.

✅ TIPS FROM DEV, LINKS & SAFETY

  • A good choice if you want a comfortable but practical Canmore base and plan to spend most of your time out exploring anyway. I’d for sure think of this spot more for the location.

  • Nice extras like the sauna and bikes. The Great Room is also nice if you want somewhere to ease into the morning before heading out.
