An excellent short walk in Mt Cook National Park

The Tasman Glacier Viewpoint hike in Mount Cook National Park is a beautiful and exciting journey, perfect for locals and travelers alike. On this 1.8 kilometers (1.1 mi) return walk, hikers will have the opportunity to take in breathtaking views of the stunning Tasman Glacier and Lake, as well as an abundance of nature found along the track. Some highlights worth mentioning include the Blue Lakes, where, on clear days, the reflection of the mountains can be seen in perfect symmetry, the Tasman Glacier viewpoint which offers spectacular sights of Aoraki Mount Cook, as well as the other snow-capped peaks. This easy and enjoyable walk even presents great opportunities for bird watching in the area. Don't miss it!
