Located in Paparoa National Park, Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes Walk is an awe-inspiring and fun coastal walk in the West Coast region of New Zealand. Discover a landscape of unique limestone formations, blowholes and surge pools on a short paved path, perfect for both adults and children alike. Enjoy spectacular views, rich birdlife, and even marine mammals while you explore this captivating area, where immense water pressure has sculpted an incredible array of natural rock formations. The walk is suitable for wheelchairs but with assistance, and visitors must take extra care around high sea swell, as the lifebelt near Sudden Sound Blowhole serves as a reminder of the potential danger.
