The little church of San Giovanni in Ranui is part of the enclosed Ranui Hof farm and stands out gracefully in the meadows surrounding the farm. The little church at Ranui in the heart of the beautiful Dolomite alpine landscape is certainly one of the most photographed subjects in South Tyrol.

The nearest (very small) parking lot is at the end of Geisler Street, just past the center of Santa Maddalena. We recommend leaving your car in the village of St. Magdalena and walking to the small church.

Whether you leave your car at the parking lot at the end of Geisler Street or stop at the first parking lot in the center of St. Magdalena, you should follow the signs to the Ranuihof residence. In 5 to 10 minutes on foot you will comfortably reach the beautiful little church.
