Wander to the end of the road in Ófeigsfjörður. Note, only for 4WD vehicles. Here you’ll find some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Westfjords, but due to the remote location very few have been there. The obvious waterfall is this one, which you will see from far as you approach. Two larger ones, Rjúkandi and Drynjandi, can be seen and experienced with a 4 hour hike. This is a wild place and trails are not to be found, so make sure to bring a map and a compass.
