Seelisberg is a charming little village nestled at the foot of Niederbauen mountain in kanton Uri, Switzerland. It's famous for its idyllic Lake Seelisberg, affectionately known as the "Seeli." HOW TO GET THERE:
From Luzern you need to take the train to Stans and from there take the bus number 311 to Seelisberg Banhof.
If You come from Arth - Goldau you need to take the bus 502 to Gersau Schiffstation which is a boat station and catch the boat to Treib. From Tribe you ride the funicular train up to Seelisberg.
Plenty of hiking area near, incredible views of the lake. You can also catch the cable car Seelisberg - Alp Weid to take you up higher elevation. From here you can hike up to Niderbauen Chulm which a peak located at 1923 meters with 369 degree views. Beautiful area.
