About 300 metres east of the Great Mosque, in a side street called Rruga Shkodra, stands the 19th-century St. Nicholas Church with its valuable iconostasis. It is the only Serbian Orthodox church still in use in Pristina and was completely renovated in 2006 after being set on fire and severely damaged during the March 2004 riots.
