Adem Jashari Square is an important place in Pristina, named after a key figure in the Kosovo Liberation Army and a symbol of resistance for many Kosovars. It is located opposite the old town district, on the other side of Rruga Agim Ramadani, south of the town hall and the municipal assembly. The unique monument to brotherhood and unity, a 15-metre-high, three-part column (Përmendorja), is intended to symbolise the (desired) alliance between Albanians, Turks and Serbs. From time to time, a small open-air picture gallery displays old photographs of Pristina.

The square is usually bustling with life and serves as a meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
