Stockbridge is truly lovely with lots of beautiful treasures to photograph and packed with independent shops, boutiques, and delicious places to eat. It has something of a village atmosphere about it, although it is only a 10 min walk from Edinburgh city centre. Stockbridge is to the North edge of the Edinburgh New Town and sits alongside the Water of Leith one of the main rivers running through Edinburgh. The lovely much photographed Dean Village is a 10 minute walk away along the riverside. Stockbridge lies in proximity of stunning attractions such as the Royal Botanic Gardens.  Don't forget to check out the weekly market where you can stock up on artisan food and crafts from local producers. Stockbridge Market on Saunders Street is open every Sunday all year round 10am to 5pm
