Candlemaker's Row in Edinburgh is a historic street that used to be the main route from the Grassmarket to Blackfriars Abbey. It's where candlemakers once worked, hence the name. You can find the famous statue of Greyfriars Bobby at the top of the row, a loyal dog who guarded his owner's grave for 14 years. The street also leads to Greyfriars Kirkyard, where many notable Edinburgh residents are buried. So, if you're strolling through Candlemaker's Row, keep an eye out for some fascinating history and maybe even a ghost story or two!
